![]() When Kite is injured in front of Pitou, Crazy Slot announces “you’re in deep shit”, shows number 3 and spawns a weapon that looks like a magical girl's wand. You can guess when they appear the kind of function they’ll have. IMO, Togashi left enough elements in the story, before we knew about Kite’s reincarnation, that makes this twist acceptable:Ĭrazy slot makes 3 materialized objects appear: The first two are conventional weapons. Gon also didn't kill pitou because she was a danger to the hunters, he killed pitou because she lied to him (and because she killed kite in the first place). ![]() If the plan were something like "gon would transform and then beat the shit out of pitou" I wouldn't have made this post in the first place, cause then it would mean Gon's transformation WASN'T pointless. Transformation or not Pitou would've still died, it just happened that the plan deviated and she died at the hands of transformed Gon. So there had to be a way for the hunters to beat Pitou. Gon himself didn't know that he'd have transform, and the Hunters didn't have that in mind when designing the plan. Įdit: to those who're saying Gon"s transformation wasn't pointless as it was needed to kill Pitou, let's analyze Gon's state of mind and the situation here. Thanks for reading and I hope this post made sense :). The criticism on Kite's reincarnation should be HOW he was reincarnated rather than WHY, in my humble opinion. Tl dr - Kite being alive in my opinion impacts Gon MORE than when it would if Kite were dead. It questioned his morality, cost him his nen and damaged his friendship with Killua And Kite being alive just adds salt to the burn. And now he has to deal with the consequences of the fact that his tantrum at the end of the day did nothing but harm for him. ![]() Gon's actions in the latter half of chimera did nothing but harm to Killua and Gon himself, all because he couldn't control over the darkness that had started to surround him. I think of Gon's actions as nothing more than just his rage taking control over Gon, and I don't condone Gon's actions but I do understand where he was coming from, meaning I empathize with him but I don't justify his actions because they were selfish. Now that in my opinion is a much heavier burden to carry than justifying Gon's actions. I feel like now Gon has to live with the fact that his stupid rage has affected him and the people around him negatively + the fact that his stupid rage was rather pointless. Why? Well when most people complaint about Kite's reincarnation, they bring up the fact that it reversed Gon's actions and Gon's transformation will now have zero impact on Gon, which I simply cannot but disagree. I feel like Kite's reincarnation was justified.
